Did you have a wonderful weekend? I sure did. The temperatures plummeted to well below zero, so we took this opportunity to work on a few exciting blog posts and catch up on some reading.
I received my December Essential Rewards order in the mail last week, and it included a couple of my favorites (peppermint, lavender, and orange essential oils).
Also in my order was Thieves mouthwash. We use the whole Young Living oral care line, all infused with Thieves essential oil. John and I had a Zyto Scan in December, which recommended cedarwood essential oil for promoting a restful night's sleep, and the Surrender blend for stress relief.
Anyway, you guys are here to see our meal plan and read a bunch of awesome posts, so let's get at it!
In this week's meal plan (which is a photo of our menu board in our kitchen), you'll find several homegrown or local item from our urban homestead. Of course, there will be a few repeats throughout the week since we try to eat in-season and lots of leftovers for lunch. Breakfast is usually a smoothie or steel cut oats; something that can be prepared quickly in the morning.

Kelli and John---You will love the Cedarwood oil! It's part of my nightly regimen. I have made a blend of that and Lavendar that I apply to my temples and back of neck.
