Junkin' in Mom's Closet and Organizing Scarves.

It's gonna be one of those posts, people.

You know what I'm talking about.

A post that is all over the place but, nonetheless, I try to cohesively bring it all together.

Since John is traveling, I spent a portion of my weekend at my parents' house. While there, my mom loaded my trunk with some junk.

(See what I did there?)

But not just any junk. This is junk that will serve a distinct purpose in my home.

(My mom is a serious junker. She buys junk and sells it on eBay - a hobby I can't quite understand, and one she loves.)

One of the items she parted with was this little five-peg "rack":

I knew it would be the perfect size for behind our master bedroom door.

Which was the perfect solution for hanging all of my scarves.

And these scarves pictured are just my summer and spring "collection" - I put my winter-ish scarves away for the season.

You could say I have a healthy addiction to accessories.

Sometimes when I am getting ready in the morning I forget about all of my beautiful scarves because they were stowed away in the back of my closet.

I won't forget anymore, now that they're hanging front-and-center. That is, unless I have the bedroom door open...

The rack fits so nicely behind the door that it almost disappears.

And now that I see my bedroom door in a photo it appears that I need to repair some of the scratches on the outside of the door.

But that's another project for another day.

Over and out.

PS - I'm linking up today - you should totally check 'em out!
