Texas Roadhouse Butter.

This Christmas I was in charge of bringing homemade rolls to my in-law's Christmas dinner. This was perfect, because I have a bread machine that does all the dirty work. I just have to pull the dough out of the bread machine after the first rise, pat out the dough on a floured surface, and cut into large squares with a pizza cutter. Then, I place the square rolls on a greased cookie sheet and let them rise for about an hour before baking. I managed to whip out three dozen homemade dinner rolls on Christmas Eve morning with no problem.

Now, we all know the best part of a homemade dinner roll is whipped butter. Nothing is more delicious than Texas Roadhouse's cinnamon honey butter. After a little research and tweaking, I found/developed a recipe for their cinnamon honey butter that tastes exactly like the real McCoy. The only difference is the color, which in this version is slightly darker. I think the Roadhouse uses half margarine and half butter (I recommend using butter), which makes theirs a little lighter in color.

Anyway, here ya go:

Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon-Honey Butter
1/2 c. butter, salted
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. honey
1 t. cinnamon

Directions:
Beat the butter with a hand mixer until light and fluffy. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix with hand mixer until combined. Eat with spoon. Or fingers. Or on a bun. Whatever suits your needs, sister.
