I feel kinda weird sharing this recipe with you. I mean, it's not like my sister, Stephanie, can cook very well.
Don't worry - I'm not bashing her or anything. She'd be the first to admit that she knows very little about cooking. HOWEVER, she is always up for learning new things in the kitchen, and I was very flattered when a few years ago she said that she liked cooking with me because I am a good teacher. (Which is one of the best compliments anyone could ever give me...just sayin'.)
One recipe that Stephanie shared with me is her no-bake cookie recipe. Fitting, I know. No-bake cookie recipe coming from sis, who is a "no-baker" if I ever knew one.
Here goes.
Steph's No-Bake Cookies
You'll need:
1 stick of oleo
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. cocoa
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 t. vanilla
Directions:
Bring everything but the oatmeal to a rolling boil in a saucepan.
Mix the oatmeal in and drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Refrigerate.
Makes about 24 cookies.
