Truly Radiant Spin Brush and Toothpaste Review

A brilliant smile is really important to me. I think first impressions are based off a person's smile, and having a dazzling grin is key. Also, I practice diligent tooth and mouth care, including brushing twice a day and flossing. This could be because I wore braces for nearly 3 years, including headgear.

Check it out:

Then, I wore retainers for years after getting my braces off. If any of you have had braces, you know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that braces definitely encourage good tooth and mouth care. These healthy habits carried into my adult life, so when I was contacted by Arm & Hammer about two of their new products, I was happy to give them a try and share the results with you.

I used the Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant toothpaste and Deep Clean Battery Toothbrush twice a day for 5 days, and I have a few observations to share with you.

Here's my before pic (Sorry it's not close up! This photo was taken the day before I began using the brush and paste):

Don't mind the High Life, folks.

And 5 days later, here's my after pic:

Do I think my teeth feel cleaner? Absolutely! I think this can be attributed to the Deep Clean Battery Toothbrush. It took a few brushings to get used to the vibrating sensation, but I was really impressed with the shine on my teeth and clean feeling. I loved this toothbrush and highly recommend it, regardless of what toothpaste you use. Here's a similar Arm & Hammer battery operated toothbrush, if you want to order it online through Amazon.

Did I notice whiter, brighter teeth? Well, my teeth felt squeaky clean and my breath was fresh all day (I think, anyway…), but whiter? I didn't notice a huge difference. Perhaps my teeth are a little whiter, but I'm not sure it is a noticeable change. I can probably attribute the whitening to the toothbrush, but I'm not sure.

Also, I'm not wholly convinced that a toothpaste can dramatically whiten teeth without containing not-so-great chemicals. Maybe I was a bit biased to begin with? I actually wouldn't mind checking out more all-natural toothpastes, like this one or this one. Call me picky, but I thought the toothpaste was too runny. It dripped off my toothbrush, which kind of grossed me out.
