What a pretty package I received in the mail the other day.
Imagine my surprise, after communicating back-and-forth with yoga instructor, writer, and jewelry designer Tah Groen, to open up a beautiful pair of amethyst earrings.
Those amethyst earrings, my friends, are for YOU. Or for one of you, at least. And to be honest, I wasn't so surprised to find these earrings in my mailbox, because I requested them as a giveaway!
That's right: YOU have a chance to win the handmade pair of earrings from California jewelry designer Tah Groen that you see here:
Tah was kind enough to share some information with me about her work as a jewelry artist {you can check out her Etsy shop for a detailed listing of her items}. She's more than your run-of-the-mill yoga instructor, and I would know, as my sister-in-law owns and operates her own studio as well. According to Tah's biography at the La Jolla Yoga Center,
Tah continues to explore and deepen her practice both on a physical and spiritual level. Delving deeply into the essential question “Who am I?”, she started a blog entitled “A Surrender into Ascension,” about her personal revelations and discoveries into the alter Ego and the Eternal “I” in I am. In her quest for knowledge Tah has come across a fairly new and profound system of self-discovery based on your birth data called Human Design. By calculating the time and place of birth, Human Design reveals a unique two-dimensional body graph in the form of a mandala. Your Human Design chart will reveal the secrets hidden within your Auric field.Like I mentioned, Tah is also a writer and studies human design. Don't you find that most creative types dabble in a variety of the arts? Many of the bloggers I know are also talented photographers, cooks, and gardeners. (If you want to read a bit of Tah's written work, you can go HERE and HERE. Both are reflective works, one on the 'ego' and the other on the 'twin flames' or 'soul mate' concepts.)
The earrings above are valued at $48, and here's Tah's Etsy description:
Three stunning Amethyst briolettes layered to dangle delicately 1" below hand-made gold-filled hoops.
The Healing properties of Amethyst:Is balancing to the lower and higher chakras, making it an all around versatile crystal for energy healing. Assisting in centering one for meditations and calming the mind for receiving higher thought, creating peace, contentment and a sense of being connected to spirit. One of my favorite crystals to wear.
Thanks for the chance to win.
