I didn't forget about the reveal. I promise.
I was having some Blogger problems concerning uploading photos and Picasa and space and editing the photos and I got my panties in a wad and it was just stressful and now I'm OK and...
Whatever.
Here's the new faux fireplace, people. I hope you love it (and it's total cost of just $82) as much as I do.
What should I write in the fireplace? It is a chalkboard, after all...
Over and out.
snooping around your blog - and I love this!
ReplyDeleteour house is 1927 and i am really upset there is NO fireplace.. they must of had a wood stove at one point, but it's long gone :(
I think i might add this to my to-do list... there is just something about decorating a fireplace that i love :)
God bless!
Thanks for your compliment, Beth! We love, love, love our home so half of the fun is making little changes to authentically represent the era, don't you think? I'll also check out your blog.
DeleteI think you should write: "Good food, good friends" :)
ReplyDeleteOr just "Welcome to our home"
